There's something to be said for a Sunday afternoon nap.  Even if it does fuck up my schedule for the rest of the day and ensure that I won't get to sleep tonight and will therefore, be a major grouchy bitch tomorrow during training.  But the last two hours have been soooo nice.  :)

Today is the first day that I've gotten over six hours of sleep in a month! Not counting weekends, just work-days. I love my job, it seriously couldn't get any better. *Knocks on wood to avoiding jinxing* I've note written in a while, but I've been trying to get into new routines during the week and my weekends have been and will be busy. Well, my car wasn't nearly as broke as I thought/worried that it was. John couldn't jump my car; we left it hooked up to the jumper cables and got nothing. So we had to tow the damn thing just down the street to the shop. They, of course, needed to keep it overnight. But they got to it the first thing this morning. I just got back from the vet with the girls. I hate it when I have to take them in for shots. Isabelle cries all the way there and it just breaks my heart. Then they spend the entire time at the office shaking and trying to bury their head into my chest. Oh my God it is so fucking cold in here!!! I've cranked the heat up to 75 (it's usually at 68) and it's still freezing in here! The temp outside has dropped from about 35 to 9 and since we live in an apartment that has sliding glass doors as one of the selling points, you can feel the wind coming through three feet away, with the blinds pulled ( Read more... )
